Michal Rubin

Michal Rubin’s book Her Home Visit, says Toby Altman, is more than a book of poems—it is a demand, righteous and insistent, that we forge a better world. A daughter of Israel, but a resident of South Carolina, Rubin's poems linger on the details of Israeli occupation: demolished homes, brutalized old men, water-starved villages. She works as a psychotherapist and is also a cantor. Her work has appeared in Psychotic Education,  The Art and Science of Psychotherapy, Wrath Bearing Tree Journal,  Rise Up Journal, Topical Poetry,  Fall-Lines,  The Last Stanza Poetry Journal, Waxing & Waning: A Literary Journal, and South Carolina Bards Poetry Anthology 2023.
