The annual January Open Mic is one of the highlights of the season, giving Poetry Society members the chance to show of their work to an appreciative audience. Not yet a member or haven't paid dues yet this year? Don't worry, you can join at the event. Arrive before the start time to get on the list. Depending on how many people sign up to read, we might allow each participant to read 2 poems. The Open Mic has occurred in one form or another throughout the 104-year history of the PSSC, but has occurred as a regular event since the 1980s.
