Prizes will be awarded at the Forum in May, or mailed to those not in attendance.

The John H. Bennett, Jr., Prize: $100.

Offered for a poem dealing with Charleston.
Open to anyone.

The John Robert Doyle, Jr., Prize: $100.

Designed to commemorate the long and able service of Professor Doyle to The Society. Offered for a poem of any style or nature.
Open to PSSC members only.

The Sandy Eubank Memorial Prize: $100.

Offered for a poem in any style on any subject.
Open to anyone.

The Forum Prize: $200.

The Patricia and Emmett Robinson Prize: $200.

Offered for a poem dealing with some aspect of theater.

The Skylark Prize: $500.

Offered in memory of John Bennett, author of the bestselling Mister Skylark.
Open to any student enrolled in any high school English program in South Carolina, for courses English I to English 4 or for English electives. Not to exceed 32 lines, counting stanza breaks. Publication in a school magazine does not render a poem ineligible. The Skylark Prize accepts submissions through postal mail and through our submissions manager. The Dr. Linda Veldheer Memorial Prize: $200.

Offered for a rhymed, metrical poem about love/marriage.
