Unlocking the Vault: Crafting Poetry Through Memory
Memory is a very powerful tool. A great memory can have us re-living the experience all over again like watching a movie that we were the main characters of. Memory in poetry is also a necessary device. It brings new life to the experience, and provides a home for forgotten or lost feelings. This workshop will dive into unlocking memory and putting it into our work in a way that gives it new life and meaning. Through guided exercises, examples of memory-inspired poems, and opportunities for sharing, this workshop will help you uncover the stories within you.
